ABOUT US

We're grateful to be a part of your child's experience. Thank you to our amazing volunteers who make this all possible.

ABOUT RENO-SPARKS POP WARNER
Reno-Sparks Pop Warner, Inc. is a non-profit youth organization for football, cheer and dance athletes. The league is comprised of two previous Pop Warner organizations, Reno Pop Warner (60+ years) and Sparks Pop Warner (45+ years), that have proudly combined for the mutual benefit of all involved. Now one, the league supports youth boy and girl athletes ages 5-15. They are either returning from the previous season or they may be stepping onto the fields for the first time.  As volunteers in the league as coaches, parents, board members we are proud to be able to volunteer our time.  Our philosophy is to develop well-rounded youth who learn not only the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, but also the importance of education, good sportsmanship, honesty, courage, and respect for authority while at the same time, having a memorable experience that will last a lifetime.

I grew up playing Sparks pop warner and instantly fell in love with the sport! I started off assistant coaching my son's tiny mites team and quickly noticed there was a need for parent volunteers to continue to support this great league that means so much to me, I have evolved into head coaching 6U,8U and 10U and have become heavily involved with the league taking on the vice president role. I am beyond excited for what this league holds and strive to make football a positive competitive outlet for our youth

I grew up playing youth football in Massachusetts and Florida and when I made my way to Reno I started coaching my boys in football. I’ve evolved into the head coaching role over the years and truly enjoy giving back to the community I’ve raised my family in. I’m honored to serve as a Vice President for this great organization and look forward to continued service to the community.

I’ve been involved with RPW as a parent, team manager and now an administrator since 2007! My 4 sons have all been a part of PW; the oldest as a coach and the others as football players. I no longer have kids in with the program; however, I stay involved because of the great families that belong to our league. I love being a part of the PW family!
